A vehicle was stolen from the Forest Lawn neighbourhood.
On Dec. 20 the St. Albert RCMP received a report that a car had been stolen overnight from Farmstead Avenue.
The 2007 light grey Chevrolet Colbalt car has an Alberta licence plate EPB 089.
As of Nov. 21, 103 vehicles had been stolen in the city. Some 60 per cent of the vehicles taken had the keys inside the vehicle at the time of the theft.
In November Cpl. Laurel Kading from the RCMP said that the vehicle thefts are occurring in all areas of St. Albert and they are not concentrated in any particular area.
In October vehicle thefts spiked to 20 while the fewest vehicle thefts happened in February with just four vehicles taken. September was also a busy month for vehicle theft in the city with 12 vehicles going missing.
Suspicious man in garage
The St. Albert RCMP was called after a suspicious man was found in a garage of a residential home in Grandin.
At around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, a man found an unknown man in his garage on Glenmore Crescent.
The suspicious man said he was going to borrow some tools but then walked out of his garage and southbound on Glenmore Crescent.
RCMP patrols were not able to locate the man.
Damage to fire hydrant
A driver hit and knocked over a fire hydrant.
Overnight between Sunday, Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 someone hit and knocked over a fire hydrant located on Edgewater Terrace in St. Albert.
