Threats against school unfounded

School scare unfounded

After an investigation the RCMP have found reports of a threat against a St. Albert school to be unfounded.

At around 9:15 p.m. on Thursday the RCMP received a report of a possible threat against Bellerose Composite High School.

The RCMP immediately sent investigators to talk with anyone connected with the incident and the St. Albert RCMP were satisfied that there was no threat of danger toward any school. The RCMP determined that a conversation between students was misinterpreted.

St. Albert RCMP would like to thank those who brought this situation to light so that it could be quickly addressed and the safety of all students could be maintained.
