RCMP investigate bullying allegations


Bullying Investigation

The St. Albert RCMP is investigating allegations of bullying.

On Wednesday Nov. 15 the St. Albert RCMP received a report alleging that bullying behaviour had been occurring on a youth hockey team in St. Albert.

The St. Albert Minor Hockey Association and the team coach contacted RCMP, who are   now investigating the allegations.

“Youth safety is a priority for the RCMP.” said Cpl. Laurel Kading, spokesperson for the RCMP “All allegations of behaviours that endanger the safety of young people are taken very seriously and will be priority investigations.”

Break and enter

A North Ridge home suffered a break in.

Between Wednesday Nov. 15 and Saturday Nov. 18 a person or persons broke into a home on North Ridge Drive and stole money , designer bags and jewelry.

The RCMP said the person or persons approached the residence from the backyard and entered the home through the kitchen.


iPhone Theft

An iPhone was taken from a gym bag at Servus Place.

On Friday, Nov. 17 an iPhone 8 was taken from a gym bag at the basketball court in Servus Place.
