Q: What was your primary motivation to seek elected office?
I love my community and I love the job. Going forward I want to be part of the decision-making process and continue with the momentum that council has built. This is a very exciting time for Morinville and I want to continue to be part of the team.

Q: What skills and experiences have prepared you for this office?
I am a very detail-orientated person who loves to delve into the details and seek the answers to all the questions. This skill has been an asset for me over the past two terms on council especially during the budget process.

Q: What do you think are the most important issues to the community at large?
Fiscal responsibility is a one of the most important issues we will be faced with. We are in the process of building a $23 million recreation facility so we will need to look at reducing our spending and evaluate our ‘needs vs wants’ going forward.

Q: What specific goals will you work to achieve if elected?
* work with our economic officer to target new diverse economic development
* offer larger scale programming for all ages
* community connectivity
* Plan and prioritize for our future and continue to contribute to reserve funds
* strengthen both internal and external partnerships and to always be here for our residents, to understand their needs and be their voice
