Q: What was your primary motivation to seek elected office?
I was asked by parishioners and friends to come forward presenting myself to seek Catholic trusteeship in effort to advocate and support those who are concerned about the direction of contemporary Catholic education and its considerable impact in the maintenance of Constitutional Rights.

In an attitude of servanthood, as an independent thinker, and as an experienced home educator in the community of St Albert for more than two decades, I find myself impassioned to represent the parent, teacher, Church, and school community.

Q: What skills and experiences have prepared you for this office??
Having developed excellent listening skills through employment and volunteer roles, I am personable and ready to represent the concerns of the Catholic parent. Motivated by love, I am equipped to represent the teaching of the Church. Experienced in the role of advocate, parenthood, and stewardship as the local coordinator for T.W.S.,Lector, EM and Parish Pastoral Council at St Joseph’s Basilica and member of the Cathedral choir, I actively serve all the ministries of the Church. A home educator of 7 children now at universities, vocational colleges and entrepreneurial ventures while enjoying meaningful employment and volunteer opportunities, these skills and experiences have enthused and fully prepared me.

Q: What do you think are the most important issues to the community at large?
The most important issue to the community at large is the development of physically and psychologically healthy children transitioning into adulthood who display the love of God within their personal pursuits of employment and recreation and in all their relationships to the benefit of society.

Q: What specific goals will you work to achieve if elected?
I will achieve a unified board in governance and outreach through a decisive understanding of what defines us, who we are and what we want to be today and in the future. I will advocate for transparent educational plans focused on defined, foundational skills outcomes and represent Choice in Education. I will bring a vision to the board for continued future public funding, high quality academics and options. Also, I will draw greater attention toward vocational programs facilitating the trades and resolutions to ongoing transportation cost issues.
