Business Beat: craft distillery opens and local organizations named top employer

Every hour is happy hour

St. Albert’s first craft distillery is now open for business. Black Diamond Distillery offers white whisky, liqueurs and vodkas with distinct flavours of chili, apple pie and coffee.

The distillery has 1,400 square-feet of space where people can watch the product being made, taste samples and buy spirits. Upstairs will soon feature a room for events, where people can have bachelor parties or tasting events with friends.

The business has no set hours of operation yet and encourages people to book ahead for tastings or to hold an event.

Black Diamond Distillery is located at #200, 16 Renault Crescent. For more information visit or call 587-598-2820.
