Lakeland Catholic School District (LCSD) is a Catholic community of learners, which opens hearts, minds and doors. LCSD is comprised of eight schools, located in Northeast Alberta, serving the communities of Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Lac La Biche and Waskatenau.

Lakeland Catholic School District provides a safe, caring and inclusive learning setting for your child. The District offers a broad curriculum that develops essential skills and competencies through advanced technologies, problem solving, critical thinking, cultural enrichment and the spiritual growth of all students. In essence, we provide education with a purpose. Parents, teachers, trustees, administrators, and the entire Lakeland Catholic community are involved in the vital mission of providing an education of the highest calibre that is permeated by the Catholic faith.

We offer an extensive professional development program for all our staff that ensures that they make the best use of technology, time, and community resources to maximize student outcomes. We believe that an effective professional development program, combined with the continuous evaluation of staff and program effectiveness is critical to student learning and development.

We are dedicated to providing fully permeated Catholic Education to the communities we serve. With classrooms built for the 21st century learner, and a proven French Immersion program from Kindergarten to Grade 12, we offer an ideal learning environment for all children from all backgrounds to learn, play and grow.
