Altercation sends two men to hospital


Two men were taken to the hospital after an altercation in Erin Ridge over the weekend.

On Sunday Nov.  19 around 12:30 p.m. the RCMP were called to an altercation near Lois E. Hole Elementary School. It was reported that two men were in distress.

The RCMP were called to Everitt Drive where two men were found needing medical attention.

The two men were taken to hospital and their condition is not known.

The investigation found the altercation may have started at a residence located on Edinburgh Court and then moved out onto Everitt Drive.

The St. Albert Fire Department responded to the scene and assisted with containment and cleanup. The area was closed to the public until 7 p.m. on Sunday night.

The RCMP are continuing to investigate the situation and are asking the public for more information.
