Each year during Small Business Week St. Albert Chamber of Commerce recognizes the best of the best local businesses at its Awards of Distinction event, held Thursday, Oct. 19 at the Arden Theatre. This year’s theme: Think Global! Think Local! celebrates the way St. Albert businesses are marketing themselves in new ways as they reach out beyond the city limits.

The chamber received more than 100 nominees and there are 75 finalists in eight categories. New this year is the Community Stewardship Award for non-profit agencies and service clubs working within St. Albert.
