Hi everyone! My name is Bud. I was found by a very nice couple who noticed I was in distress. They rushed me to SCARS who discovered that I had a urinary blockage AND an abscess on my tail. Unfortunately, the abscess was so bad that the vets were not able to save all of my tail so I will have a stubby one from now on. After spending a week at the vet, I came back to the shelter to recover, but it wasn't long before I ended up back at the vet with another urinary blockage. Can't a cute guy catch a break?! I will need to be on special prescription urinary food for the rest of my life. Once I have fully recovered, I will be looking for my forever home. After everything that has happened to me, I was a bit shut down at the shelter, but since discovering that humans are kind, I have become an incredibly affectionate boy. I love chin scratches and I will press my face right into you until you pet me. I just want to be close to you! Could I come home and cuddle with you?
