April 13, 1958 - July 20, 2012

With sadness the family announces the sudden passing of David Toefield Franks, born April 13, 1958 in Vulcan, Alberta, deceased July 20, 2012. Predeceased by his father, Wally Franks, survived by his mother Shirley Franks. Also his loving daughter Melanie (Justin) Schenk and his grandson Liam Kelly. His brothers Bob (Pat), Kevin (Sue), Al (Paula), Richard (Ming). His sisters Jane, Marla, and Susan. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and cousins. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 2 pm at Sturgeon Valley Baptist Church, 51 Woodlands Road, St. Albert, Alberta. He was a big man with a big heart and will leave a huge hole in our lives. We love you and miss you. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Daves' Memory to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute.
