SOMBACH
Dorothy Margaret
September 16, 1945 - February 12, 2008
It is with heaviest of hearts that the family of Dorothy Margaret Sombach announces her passing at the age of 62.
Dorothy was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and lived in a number of Canadian cities before settling in St. Albert. She is remembered and loved for being a caring wife, mother and

Dorothy worked as the Manager of Student Transportation with Edmonton Public Schools where she earned the admiration and respect of her colleagues and friends.
Whether traveling, hiking, playing tennis, doing yoga or playing bridge, Dorothy lived life to the fullest. She was an incredibly strong woman who shared her strength by supporting and nurturing those around her. Everyone who knew her benefited from her quiet grace and her open heart.
Dorothy will be sorely missed by her mother Martha Dorney; her husband Joe to whom she was married for 40 years; her beloved children Robb (Tonya), Dan, Kelly (Alan), and grandchildren Hana, Jackson and Josie. She is also survived by two sisters: Marilyn Ellis (Bill) and Beverley Perreaux (Ed); and two brothers-in-law: Frank Sombach and Raymond Sombach (Emma).
