Tash Taylor on St. Albert’s future

Tash Taylor

What do you envision for the future of St. Albert?

Do you want it to remain a haven for large single-family dwelling lots. Do you want more density? Do you see a mix?

Is St. Albert a vital part of the Edmonton capital region? Is the city’s growth being managed with other communities and their plans in mind, or does St. Albert’s vision stop at its civic boundaries?

When it comes time to make decisions at council on planning items and policy, what council’s really doing is setting up this community’s future. The decisions made by the council candidates who are hoping to join could easily reverberate decades down the road.

With that in mind, our final question for candidates before St. Albertans vote on June 24 was about the future of this city.

Question:

What is your vision for the future of St. Albert?

Answers:

Tash Taylor

My vision for St. Albert is:

A place where everyone knows they belong, regardless of background, income, race, sexual orientation, religion or age.

A place where people are always built up, not torn down.

A place renowned for being friendly, safe and inclusive.

A place where we can continue appreciating the quality of life we have compared to so many places in the world.

A place where everyone is proud to call St. Albert home.
