The Paul Kane Blues will take on the Bev Facey Falcons on Thursday’s division one women’s final at Pirates Rugby Club.

Kickoff will be at 4:45 p.m. on field 1.

The Falcons have been champions at the last four finals.

The men’s division two semifinals were played last night. The Bellerose Bulldogs played Edmonton Christian and the Sturgeon Spirits played St. Francis Xavier.

The Bulldogs lost to Edmonton Christian with a score of 46-19. The Spirits beat St. Francis Xavier 44-12. The Spirits will play Edmonton Christian in the final on Friday at 4:45 p.m. at Pirates Rugby Club.

The St. Albert Junior Cardinals will play host at the third annual Rainmaker Rodeo Baseball Tournament on May 27 to the 29 at Legion Memorial Park.

The tournament will consist of eight teams. The Cardinals will face the Sherwood Park Athletics and the Red Deer Razorbacks in regular play.

The finals will be on May 29 with the bronze medal game starting at 2 p.m. and the gold medal game beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Cash prizes will be distributed at the tournament. Every win earns teams $100. The tournament champions will receive $350, the silver medallists will get $250 and the bronze medal winners will be awarded $150.

The St. Albert Impact teams in the Edmonton District Soccer Association are busy this week.

The men’s action kicks off tonight at 6:30 p.m. when the division 1B Impact 2 men play Croatia Hajduk at the Croatia Soccer Club.

The division 1B Impact women also play tonight at 6:30 p.m. against Azzurri Women at the ESA Complex.

The premier Impact 1 men have a game on Thursday against AC Milan 1 Men at 6:30 p.m. at the ESA Complex.

The division 2A Impact 2 women will play Celtic United on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Archbishop O’Leary.

The women dominate the playing time on Sunday starting with the premier Impact hitting the pitch against Inter SC at 2 p.m. at the ESA Complex.

The action continues with the division 2A Impact 2 women against Dreadnought 1 Varley at 4 p.m. at Coronation Park.

The final Impact game of the day will feature the division 1B Impact women and the KC Trojans 1 Women at 6 p.m. at the ESA Complex.
