Walk into the Northern Lakes College Athabasca Campus and you will receive a warm welcome. Local staff at the campus are always willing to assist students and answer inquiries about future studies. Although Northern Lakes College offers many of its programming through distance education, students can still enroll and receive face-to-face support for many certificate and diploma programs such as Social Work, Survey Theory & Calculations, Business Administration, Health Care Aide, Practical Nurse, Educational Assistant and much more.

Visit the Athabasca Campus and talk to Karen, the campus Access Facilitator. Karen has been with NLC for 7 years, and is always more than happy to assist anyone walking in the door with questions on programming, educational paths, scholarships and more. The Campus Instructor Nancy, has been with NLC for 20 years. Nancy helps students from all programs and with such a diverse educational background, Nancy can assist Power Engineering students with math exercises, or Academic Upgrading students with their English courses.
