A new casual-dining pub opened Tuesday in the city's downtown.
The Feast & Lounge is located in the former location of Trendy Home at 150 – 15 Perron St., beside Jack's Burger Shack.
Ownership is shared between the proprietor of Jack's, Tu Le, and his co-workers Jen Pulham and Nathan Pratap.
The pub is about 1,400 square feet in size and offers rooftop patio seating in the summer.
Based on the restaurant's Facebook page, its summer menu offers a choice of small appetizer plates, salads and some main courses, such as baked macaroni made with boursin cheese and crisp prosciutto, a nacho dog, an Italian style Philly and a Montreal smoked beet sandwich.
The Feast & Lounge is open Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to midnight and Saturday to Sunday from 12 noon to 3 a.m.

Ontario-based breakfast chain coming to city
Ontario-based breakfast chain Sunset Grill is planning to open its first out-of-province franchise in St. Albert in early October.
The chain now operates about 100 restaurants in Ontario and is a direct competitor to Cora's, offering all-day breakfast and some lunch items from 6 a.m. to about 3 p.m., said local franchise owner Alan Arsenault.
The St. Albert location will be located at #340, 525 St. Albert Trail, near the GoodLife Fitness and Visions Electronics.
“It's breakfast in the morning, breakfast at lunch and breakfast right until we close,” said Arsenault.
“We do a little bit of a lunch menu with some burgers and specialty sandwiches … but the focus is always with your typical breakfast fare with the eggs, the bacon, the sausage.”
He added that the restaurant offers a wide range of fresh breakfast options, such as the classic bacon and egg meal, to omelettes, French toast, waffles and pancakes, as well as a choice of different burgers and sandwiches – many of which are prepared with Canadian peameal bacon.
Sunset Grill will tentatively open in St. Albert on Oct. 1. The 2,170-square-foot restaurant will offer about 90 seats and a summer patio.

One more for the burger lovers
Burger fans will have their choice of restaurants once yet another burger chain opens its doors in the city this summer.
Denver-based Smashburger is looking to bring its brand to St. Albert, opening at 525 St. Albert Trail.
Local franchise operator Bo Yang said the restaurant uses Angus beef shipped from the United States which is then prepared and “smashed” on the grill. Customers can choose from different toppings or create their own burger, he said.
“You come in and order the food, take a number and then put the number on your table and the cashier will bring the food to your table,” said Yang.
The restaurant also offers hand-spun milkshakes, salads, chicken sandwiches and black bean veggie burgers, as well as a regional “Edmonton” burger made with green onion and barbecue sauce.
The tentative opening date for Smashburger in St. Albert is set for Aug. 26. For more information go to smashburger.com.

The 556-square-foot store will offer more than 150 types of tea, as well as tea-related products and gift items. The store is located in the mall's food court.
