Re “Getting in the game,” June 14 Gazette.

There is one affordable sport you forgot to mention in your article on page 20 and 21 of the June 14 paper: Curling.

My son has been curling since he was in Grade 4. Excellent sport, great price and long season.

This year the St. Albert Curling Club’s junior program participated in a number of bonspiels throughout the season including The Kevin Martin Junior Bonspiel in April where we had one team U16 get an eight-ender and come in third out of almost 26 teams!

This community needs to support the junior program, the volunteers and Coaches are awesome! These kids had a blast this season!
