Walk officials should have supported Henry

Re: The recent Mayor’s Walk for Charity.

The persons who walk the hardest walk deserve as many accolades as the one who finished first or the one who raised the most money.

I think it is shameful and very disrespectful that no officials were present at the finish line to congratulate Henry Vogelaar (who walked 3.5 kilometres with a walker due to a brain injury) for his participation in a very difficult event – well walked.

Way to go, Henry. Job well done!
