The St. Albert Painters’ Guild wishes to thank all our friends, families and guests who took time to come to our spring show, Picture Perfect Spring, April 25 to 27, to admire and to purchase. Without your attendance there would be no show, and because of all of you and the artists, the show was a success.

Every year the guild gives back to the community by holding a raffle, in which three artists donate a painting for the draw. The proceeds for this raffle go to sending one or more St. Albert art students to Summerscapes in Red Deer for one week. We are happy to advise that through your generosity we will be sending three students this summer. These students will also have the opportunity to show some of their works at our fall show in October.

We also want to thank Scott Hayes and the Gazette for the April 23 article about our show. The Gazette does so much for our community by informing us of all events being held here or around us, whether it be the arts, sports, fundraisers, etc. We applaud you and your staff. Keep up the good work!

Thank you,

Betty Tessier, St. Albert Painters Guild
