Morinville RCMP recover stolen property

Morinville RCMP have charged two people with 54 property crime related charges in connection with a break and enter on Monday.

On April 28 officers responded to a complaint of a break and enter in progress in Morinville.

They arrested Jason Macaloney and Diana Barrett in possession of stolen property including wallets, identification cards and vehicle accessories.

The two face 54 property crimes related charges. One of the accused was also arrested on 56 property crimes related outstanding warrants from the Edmonton area.

Police have identified stolen property from at least 27 individuals.

Macaloney and Barrett are currently in custody and will be appearing in Morinville court on May 1.
