Two men involved in a stabbing in Morinville last week have been arrested and charged.

Christian Dupas and Cory Nelson were found in the early morning hours of April 12 at a rural location near Athabasca.

Last Friday, Morinville RCMP issued a warrant for the pairís arrest and a plea for the publicís help in locating them.

Dupas and Nelson are accused of beating and stabbing a 22-year-old man with a knife in the lobby of the apartment building he lived in, on April 7 around 9 p.m.

They have both been charged with aggravated assault and are currently in custody.

The victim is still in hospital but is in stable condition, confirmed Cpl. Martin Girard with Morinville RCMP.

Dupas and Nelson will make their first appearance in Morinville Provincial Court on April 17.
