School location is just wrong

How can our city council, school boards and everyone involved be so darned irresponsible?
Everyone knows that the Eldorado site for the francophone school is just wrong, wrong, wrong! The site is way too small, the area is already too congested and the general population has shared its views and concerns over and over again to the city and school boards.
What does it take to get through to people? A child being killed, a senior being struck down by a bus while taking a stroll? WHAT!?
It’s a shame and an embarrassment that the people of St. Albert, who pay incredible taxes and I might add the salaries of the mayor and city council, have absolutely no control over how this city is shaped. Who runs St. Albert? Obviously the school boards, not city council and certainly not the people.
The school boards should be put in their place and not be allowed so much power and control. The people (taxpayers) should be heard and listened to and not with glazed-over eyes.
The school boards have a political agenda and are clearly not making decisions based on the needs or wants of the community. They can’t possibly think that serious traffic problems and congestion are not going to occur. And they can’t possibly think that high school students are only going to take buses. Nor can they possibly think that littering won’t be a problem and the parks won’t be full of teens hanging around doing things they shouldn’t be.
The benefits of this school location will never exceed the repercussions and everyone knows it. Have you really seen the size of the Kingswood site? Shame on you all. I as a taxpayer am so disappointed in this city and the political agenda!
