Common sense approach confusing for motorists

This is my second winter in St. Albert and I just do not understand why people continue to park on residential streets while snow removal is going on.

Signs are clearly posted to let everyone know they will be in the area. The city has done a great job this year clearing the snow on residential streets before it gets too difficult to drive through.

Maybe they should start issuing parking tickets to those vehicles left on the street as it seems to be an ongoing problem. Other communities give out tickets and even tow the vehicle.
