Regarding the article in the St. Albert Gazette, Dec. 18, submitted by Mr. Ken Allred on the privatization of land titles;

As a 35 years employee of the Edmonton Land Titles Office may I say Mr. Allred hit the nail on the head, now people just have to listen.

Currently this process is falling on deaf ears, it is all about the money. Having said that once it happens it will be too late to turn back.

What the current government should keep in mind is in the future they should not be known for privatizing land titles they should be known for maintaining a system that is the envy of other jurisdictions. Thank you.

Susan Budney, Edmonton
