Threatening snow letter was shameful

I read in disbelief, the article in the Dec. 23, 2013 Gazette, about the walk in Forest Lawn not being cleaned to someone's satisfaction.
Rather than taking the time to write a threatening and condescending letter, why not take the time to help your neighbour, particularly if they are seniors or have health issues?
We regularly see our neighbours shoveling the neighbour's walk; you know, just being neighbourly.
If you don't get a lump of coal for Christmas, it is not too late to consider a new year's resolution.
