New council, but same old same old. Twenty thousand dollars for a park bench, is this being fiscally responsible?

During election times candidates talk the talk, but when elected, they can't walk the walk!

Because of decisions like this, we have one of the highest property tax rates in Alberta. I would like to ask councillors if they would spend $20,000 of their own money for a park bench.

When are they going to realize that taxpayers are not a bottomless pit?
