Six voted Boonstock down, not just two

I find it funny that Colin Kobza in his big ad in the Gazette on Oct. 16 singles out two council members when six voted against the festival.
Was this ad politically motivated? I sure think so. It was directed at the two council members that most oppose Don Rigney as mayor.
The really funny thing in the ad is the statement about discontent in council over the last three years. A great way to fix this is to not throw your fellow colleagues under the bus.
Yes, Mayor Don Rigney of Sturgeon County voted against Boonstock, then walked out the door and said to media “I don't think we treated him fairly.”
That is so unprofessional to not stand behind what you voted for and the citizens of the county's best interests. That is a 180 degree about-face in less than 30 minutes.
