Not very happy with council decisions

I really need to question some of the decisions coming out of city hall and the current council. Why would they re-surface the intersection of Bellerose Drive and Boudreau Road at this time?
Obviously they are not aware of all of the construction going on at the old Holeís greenhouse site. Heavy equipment and tandem dump-trucks coming and going from the site are already stressing the new pavement. The pavement doesnít even have the lines painted on it yet and depressions from the heavy trucks are apparent. A different council would have waited for the construction to end.
But then again, this is the same council who railroaded the project on the Eldorado parkland, which will wreak havoc on the already stressful traffic situation in the neighbourhood. The Erin Ridge Road and Erin Ridge Drive intersection is one of the most dangerous intersections in the city, without the onslaught of hundreds of more vehicles per day. A different council would have built elsewhere.
But thanks city council for looking after our safety needs and placing photo radar on Ray Gibbon Drive to keep all those busy intersections under control Ö oh wait, there are no busy intersections in the middle of Ray Gibbon Drive. A different council would direct the photo radar vans into the neighbourhoods of St. Albert, where they are needed.
The elections in October canít come soon enough.
