Great work by snow removal crewBy: | Posted: Wednesday, Feb 06, 2013 06:00 am Hello, Your Worship Mayor Crouse. I know that is impossible to please everyone. However, my experience with the city snow removal crew has been very good. I live at the end of my crescent, at the lowest level. Thus, when it is melting, the water accumulates in front of my house and a couple of others. The manhole or street drain is also at the end of the crescent, almost at the lowest level. Due to so much snow, the last snow clearing crew had made a pile in the middle of the circle at the end of the road, which worked fine. Today, they are here clearing that pile. They did a really good job. I was fortunate enough to be around when they were working. I asked them to clear the access to the manhole. They were friendly and cooperative and cleared the access to the manhole so that when we do get some melting, the water can freely escape down the drain. Please thank the crew that is out there doing this good work. B.K. Kang, St. Albert Comments
