An act of decency and kindnessBy: | Posted: Saturday, Jan 26, 2013 06:00 am On the morning of Jan. 23, 2013 my parents’ tiny, white dog, Lucy, barely a year old, wiggled out of her collar while on a walk. While my parents were out searching for her, Lucy was hit by a car. The driver of the car kindly took Lucy to the Tudor Glen clinic. While we were still out searching, Lucy died. The Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (where Lucy had originally come from) was contacted and they called us with the sad news. We are so thankful that the lady who hit Lucy showed decency and kindness by taking her to the clinic. Lucy was a very fast little dog and although we are so sad right now, we would like this lady to know we understand it was completely accidental. C. Tremblay, St. Albert Comments
