How about something positive for a change? With so many complaints and negativity about the weather, the road clearing, taxes, dogs, and the NHL lockout, how about something on the happy side?

I recently attended the Paul Kane drama club production of Thoroughly Modern Millie at the Arden Theatre. What a wonderful experience, a great evening of entertainment by some of our own local talent. Kudos to the students, teachers and everyone else who worked so hard to make this a wonderful production. At $15 a ticket, this is affordable entertainment for the whole family and an opportunity to support our community.

I most certainly will attend future productions and look forward to the coming plays put on by Bellerose and St. Albert High.
