Too often we complain about things that affect our standard of living. We should be counting our blessings living in St. Albert.

I had a complaint regarding the snow removal this year. The snow was removed but a layer of ice was left causing the possibility of losing control of the vehicle. I phoned public works with my concerns and a woman indicated that she would pass the message on.

Later that day a gentleman called to tell me that he understood the problem and would try to deal with this as soon as possible. The very next day a crew was out taking care of the problem. I have lived in St. Albert since 1964 and this is the first time I have had reason to complain. My purpose for this letter is not to criticize but to compliment public works for their quick response and fine job they did.
