I understand that Minister Doug Horner is asking Albertans what their spending priorities are for the new fiscal year.

I have only one — that his government build a real school for the students of Alexandre Taché. Having my child attend school in the basement of the Youville Home seems to be a bit unfair. The youth of St. Albert’s two other school boards have real schools for their students.

I believe it’s time that ministers Horner, Stephen Khan and Jeff Johnson fight for what’s right. The time for studies has now passed. Please get on with the job of providing first right education for our children.

James Burrows, St. Albert
