City needs to scrub its shrubs

I totally agree with the commentary in the Gazette, Saturday Sept. 15 regarding the shrubs on the centre boulevards throughout the city.

The shrubs planted to beautify the meridians along McKenney Avenue are going to cause a fatality sometime soon. You cannot see if anyone is crossing until you are on top of the crosswalk itself. I personally stop at this particular crosswalk (going in either direction) to make sure that no one is crossing. I guarantee that not too many others will slow down here.

These plants need to be removed as soon as possible. I am willing to do it myself if it is not rectified soon – dangerous, plain and simple.
