Toot! Toot! That's all I hear, day and night.

I've lived here my whole life. Not just 18 years but more than 50. And at 18, I didn't care much about the train either. In fact, the trestle bridge was one of our favorite hangouts. We ran across the tracks just like in the movie Stand By Me.

But then I grew up and had children of my own. I learned how important a good night’s sleep was. Between my kids waking up in the night, to sickness and job stress, I've treasured my sleep ever since.

Sadly, I agree that the train is too loud at night and the horns blast too much. Something needs to change. Toronto has a no fly time ... why can't we have a no horn time?
