A A

I was appalled to see how some of our residents treated the staff at the Villeneuve Road McDonalds this past weekend.

The double-drive-through was backed up, the line inside was 20 deep and the staff was scrambling to keep up. I knew it wasn’t going to be quick, but my coffee and Egg McMuffin were well worth the wait.

Unfortunately, during my six minutes inside I witnessed three separate customers callously raise their voices at the staff about the inconceivable wait. It was awful to watch the flustered workers smile despite the unwarranted anger. I can only urge these “big-mac” residents to take it easy on the people behind the counter.

It’s in your best interest to be patient with the people who handle your food. If you’re having a bad day … skip the quarter pounder and try the “Happy” Meal.
