It was closing on midnight Saturday when firefighters were alerted to a raging house fire in Sturgeon County just east of St. Albert. Crews responded from Namao, Morinville and Bon Accord, battling the fire until six the next morning. Gazette photographer April Bartlett was there too. Here is her special report on the firefighters' long, hot night.
