Scout, Jack Russell terrier, 18 months old

My name’s Scout and I’m an 18-month-old Jack Russell terrier. I’m a typical Jack Russell as I bounce around with tons of energy, and I love it. I enjoy being around other respectful dogs, so it would be nice to have a buddy to help me burn up energy. I’m a good boy as I have some basic training and I do well in crates when travelling. I also love giving licks and getting pets, so if that kind of two-way relationship works for you, please inquire.

Go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the ‘adopt me’ link underneath my picture. Or you can call the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) at 780-922-0250 and leave a voicemail.

Patches, calico, five years old

I’m Patches and I’m a beautiful short-haired calico spayed female cat. I’m five years old but don’t think that I have the kitten out of me. I love to play with my toys and I love to watch all of that exciting activity outside, though from the safety of my home.

I’m also a very sweet cat who is very gentle and loves to purr up a storm. I can’t say that I love other cats, so it would be best if I could go to a home without other felines. On the other hand (or paw), I like respectful, older dogs, so figure that out. So if you’d love a gorgeous little kitty at your side, please inquire about me.
