Get out the tar and feathers

Mayor Crouse, get over yourself! You do not own St. Albert, much as you like to think you do.

You are having a snit over a smoke shop owner who is actually willing to pay the high taxes to run a business here, and because you think he is going to corrupt little Tommy and Suzy he has got to go! All you are missing is the tar and feathers to run Chad 420 out of town.

For years now I have been hearing that we haven't enough business development going on to offset our tax burden, and this is how council chooses to handle it. I have never seen such bias and discrimination in my life until I moved here. I come from Vancouver where it is widely accepted in the community.

If these kinds of legitimate businesses are not welcome in this uptight NIMBY town, the people of St Albert who need the services of Chad 420 will happily trot to Edmonton to buy what they need, and satisfy their tax coffers while ours sit empty thanks to your totalitarian reign of terror.

Lisa Ryan, St. Albert
