Several hundred people gathered at Seven Hills on Saturday to cheer on St. Albert son and Olympic hero Jarome Iginla.

The City of St. Albert hosted the Jarome Iginla Day celebrations to honour the NHL star's role with the gold-medal winning Team Canada at the Vancouver Olympics. Iginla set up Sidney Crosby's golden goal giving the Canadians a 3-2 overtime triumph against Team U.S.A. in the final.
