Mary graduated from the University of Alberta in 1979 and joined the family in the newspaper business. She’s been involved in all aspects of the newspaper industry and, as marketing manager, her role is to develop marketing campaigns, special targeted sections and to work with clients and sales staff

Mary believes the foundation of our newspaper is SALES FOLLOW READERSHIP. She is committed to our community, its businesses and our readers.

Nell Piche

Nell has been with the St. Albert Gazette since 1988. Her focus, in most recent years, is on new home builders and developers, as well as the retail market. She continues to provide service and knowledge to these accounts.

Nell has been St. Albert resident since 1987 and, together with her family, enjoys the variety of attractions St. Albert has to offer.

Joy Knutson

Joy has been with the Gazette advertising department since 1990. Her knowledge and trustworthy personality is responsible for the growth and maintenance of her diversified account base.

Joy has lived in St. Albert since 1967 and has watched it grow from a sleepy town to the bustling city it is today.

Her background in retail sales and training gives her the versatility to meet all of her clients’ expectations.

John came to the Gazette sales team with 19 years of community newspaper marketing and sales experience. He is a graduate of Grant MacEwan's Advertising and Public Relations.program.

Born and raised in Edmonton, John is very familiar with the business environment in our trading area. An active young family helps keep him young at heart.

John looks forward to meeting Edmonton and area businesses to discuss growth potential.

Shannon Cloutier

Shannon is a welcome member of the sales team. In addition to her marketing courses at NAIT, she has 7 years experience in sales.

Growing up in small town Alberta and working for a small family business has given Shannon the knowledge of what it takes to to be successful as a smaller business. She is dedicated to helping her customers grow their businesses.

Shannon lives in Legal and enjoys the outdoors with her family and dogs.

Jan Martin

Jan grew up in St. Albert and graduated from the marketing program at NAIT. She has been in the newspaper industry since 1986 . In 1998, Jan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lewis & Clark College. Her journeys have taken her to major daily newspapers in the US, including the San Diego Union-Tribune.

With a long history of working with retail businesses, Jan looks forward to helping customers grow their business with creative advertising campaigns.

Pat Annand
Inside Sales/Classified Ad Manager

Pat joined the St. Albert Gazette in 1987. As Inside Sales Manager, she oversees the newspaper’s classified advertising and a variety of advertising features handled by her department.

She is a member of the International Newspaper Marketing Association and currently sits on the board for St. Albert Student Placement.

Pat believes being the information source in the community and providing advertisers and readers with exemplary customer service is the key to success.

She comes to the Gazette with over 15 years experience in print advertising. Customer service and relationship building is the key to her success.

Sherry and her husband have raised their family in this great community since 1983.

Sara joins the St. Albert Gazette with more than 20 years of inside sales experience. She brings to her position a diverse background, including newspaper advertising and recruitment services. Sara strives for strong client relationships and the best in customer service.

Sara and her husband have lived in St. Albert since 1994, raising their two sons.
